Mom and Boys do LA

We are traveling to California for my brothers wedding. Coming out on Tuesday 5/17 (wedding in Palm Springs 5/21). I have an 18 and 15 DS and want to do tourist type things while in LA. Thoughts? Someone help us plan! Here is what we have so far:
Venice Beach, Burial sites, some star homes, Walk of Fame, Manns, drive past Capitol Records, Hollywood sign, Huntington Beach, of course Disneyland for at least a day......Where in LA is reasonable but nice to stay?

You might look into the Hollywood citypass.

It might be a little gimmicky for your sons, but if they can sit back and relax they will probably enjoy. It just a simple way to tour Hollywood.


You can find hotels near Venice Beach which would be a great place to end the day. Also watch sufers near Santa Monica Pier.
