I'm so sick of seeing these, but I guess it takes time for the mods to address it.

I click ignore on the poster's name to make them disappear.

It's so frustrating. I don't know if I want one from Abu Dhabi, India, or Dubai.

We are cleaning them up as quickly as we can but it's as we have time to pop onto the boards. Thank you for reporting as we appreciate your help to bring them to our attention. I know I've cleaned up a lot today so unfortunately they're keeping us busy.

It has been reported to the Admins as well.

Please note, once you report a user once, there is no need to report every thread they create. Ex - If someone creates a user name, 'ABC', if you report one of their posts, we can easily clean up all posts by that user. No need to go in and report each post a user creates.

That's what I do, report the User as soon as I see one. I used to hate the "New DISboards Threads" section at the bottom of the page. But, now, it's easy to spot the Spam threads right away to help report them.

I still think a 10 post rule for starting new threads just like for PMs would eliminate the problem.

But then the spammers may bring up more zombie threads than there are now. Most really should stay dead.

There were a bunch of new spam accounts created. I believe WMCorey is trying to address the bigger issue, and our mod team members are trying to catch them when we can, as stated by scrapinginontario.
