Mods help please-re. ignore list

I went on to a thread on the trip planning board and when I went in to a thread about five of the posters it said these are on your ignore list.....I didn't even know there was one so I don't know how those people got on there!

I went in to the CP panel and it says edit ignore list,but there is no facility that I can see to displat my ignore list.There were so many on my ignorte list I haven't bothered to remove them yet in case I have many others!

Is there a way of viewing my ignore list like we can with the buddy list?

Okay - here's what <b>I </b> can do, but what I don't know is whether things are any different for me as a mod. I don't think it would make any difference to this, but from what you've said about not having any facility to edit, maybe it is different

I went to 'user cp', then to the bar 'update ignore list'. That gave me a box with a couple of data entry type lines, and underneath it said:

Edit Ignore List

To remove a user from the list, delete their name. To add a user to the list, enter their name in one of the empty boxes.

To view the complete members list, click here

Let me know if you can / can't do it from there.

I've just realised that I didn't answer your question at all - I thought you wanted to be able to edit your 'ignore' list, but you wanted to <b>view</b> it.

I'm still working on that one.......

I just wonder how those DISers got on my 'hit' (edit!) list,perhaps you can hit a buttin somewhere and I've been inadvertently doing that!

It would appear yer not the only one Kaz as someone else has posted a simialr question on the Techy Board. Mr Jimminy Cricket (TechMod) has asked if anyone else has come accross it.

I cant see my *Ignore List* either -

If you have people in your Ignore list, they will show in the Edit Ignore list menu. If there is no one placed in it, then you'll just see some blank boxes.

In this case I think it's something different...I think it might be a board gremlin that's making people in posts be 'ignored' whilst not actually living in your list, which is why you can't see them as I've heard quite a few people saying they've had the same thing happen to them.
