Modifying reservations booked with transferred points

What has everyone's experience been like with the website cooperating (or not) when you try to modify a reservation booked with transferred points? Would it require a call to MS every time? I'm trying to do a bit of 7 month walking but I won't bother if I'd need to call every day to do it.

Do you know what priority order it assigns to current year transferred points versus, for example, borrowed points?

The system will take borrowed or banked first. You can’t use transferred until those are used.

For current, it goes by order you have checked. I always have the transferred one first

I booked a test reservation using transferred and current points 4 months from now online. It let me choose the order between 4 contracts (current transferred BRV, banked transferred BRV, current BLT, current SSR). It was pretty seamless.

Thanks. I'm booking a trip for 12 using a combination of points I'm keeping, contracts I'm selling, points I'm transferring to myself, and a contract I'm buying that may or may not close in time.

Just remember when transferred to your other membership, those points keep their regular UY, so you want to be sure they are still eligible for the trip.

That would probably blow the mind of some, but its typically easier in practice then it is to describe.

Yep, we're traveling January 2023 and the transferred points would be March 2022.
