Modifying Reservation

Hello All!! -

We have reservations 11/4 - 11/11/2017. 2-Bedroom Villa at AKV Currently, there are 4 adults and one child on the reservation. They are myself, my husband, our son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter (3 yrs). Our kids have had to cancel due to the eminent arrival of our second grandchild, and DIL will not be able to fly at that time. We want to drop the kids and granddaughter but add friends who will be going in their place. FYI - My husband and I are the members.

I went online and could not see where I could do this change myself via the website. My search of this forum comes up with I must either call MS or use the chat function to make these changes. So my question is really a request to confirm what I've read. Call MS or us Chat function, can't make changes via website? Correct?

I want to get the changes made as soon as possible so that I can make sure we reserve the Magical Express transportation timely and order Magic Bands. We do not have nor do we plan to have any DDP. My husband is an employee and we'll be using his access to get into the Parks, so we have no access to FastPass+ until we get into the parks. So those things aren't an issue for us.

You can call, chat, or email via the member website. We prefer to email, just list who you want removed and who you want to add, your flight info for DME and your room request. As soon as the change is made, they will email you back. You will have plenty of time for DME, all yellow tags will be mailed to you. Don't forget to order your MB's.

Thank you for the confirmation, this morning I was able to use the chat feature, got the change done quickly. :-) I like the chat feature better than being on the phone. I'll keep the email info in mind for future use.
 
Thank you for asking/answering this question - I just hung up the phone upon learning there was a 25 min. wait for MS thinking some one on Dis will know a better way to add some one & viola here's this thread eureka - back to the website.
 

Oh my goodness, chat is so much quicker, or at least it was this morning, to get a response and the change made. I only had so much time before an appointment to get that done. I had time when I was done, so I was able to relax before I headed out for my appointment!!
