Modifying my CRT ressie....questions..**updated 8/15

Ok, so I originally booked a CRT ressie for 8 adults. Well, we are 2 less now, so the ressie needs to be for 6 not 8. Now....if I call and change the number of people on the ressie, are they going to make me re-book the entire meal (which I probably won't be able to do since we leave in a little over 2 weeks)? I know if I leave it the way it is, they will probably charge my credit card for the 2 extra meals.

Any suggestions or thoughts?

I was pleasantly surprised when we showed up @CRT (breakfast) in December 2007 with one less person and our CM gave us a Disney gift card credited with the amount of the cost of one person at the end of the meal!
(BTW I didn't ask or mention it they just did it! )

Ahhhhhh....so there's hope!! I am just too afraid to call and modify it since I don't want to lose the ressie!! Thanks for the info! I guess we will just keep our fingers crossed!

I wouldn't touch it! Your lucky to have it and any modification could screw it up!

So I called today and asked *what if* I needed to drop 2 people from my ressie. At first, the CM said that she would check availability for that night for a party of 6 instead of 8. Ummmmm....ya......surprise, surprise, nothing available. So, then she put me on hold, and came back and said, "I can take care of this if you want me to." Yay!!! So, she took off the 2 extra adults while keeping my original ressie. She was so nice!!! We are so excited now because we figured we may have to pay for those 2 spots!!
