Modifying Fastpasses for a different day

I have modified fastpasses on the same day before, but don't know how to see availability for a different day and then modify. We may have a change of plans and, although it is a long shot, I want to see if there are any comparable fastpasses to the ones we have. Is there a way to do that. Our trip is really close, so it probably won't work, but I would like to try. I want to switch touring to an earlier day in our trip, so our resort day can be a little later.

I've only ever seen one area to choose the date of FP. Haven't noticed that ability in modify.

Say for example you have FP for Hollywood Studios on Monday, and want to change them to Wednesday. The way to do it is to just make FP for Wednesday, and then cancel the Monday ones. I think that's the only way to do it, 'modify' is only for changing times/attractions on the same day.

For completely different days as @scrapquitler's example, you have to completely Cancel the booked FPs first to search the new day. You have to make that ticket entitlement available to open up the FP booking for the new day.
