Modify reservations on line

I have existing reservation if free dining comes out tomorrow will l be able to modify on line or is it easier to make new reservation?

Last year I had an existing reservation. When free dining came out it wouldn't let me modify it online so I had to book a whole new reservation and then cancel the old one. I'm in Canada so I didn't want to call in but I had no troubles booking the new and cancelling the old online.

I have a reservation for BOG in October that I would like to modify . I'm not looking for free dining but the system won't even let me alter the number of guests. When did organizing a Disney vacation become soooo much hard work?

I was able to modify a POR pool view reservation to Free Dining last year without ever having to talk to a human. Your current ressie must meet the requirements and availability.

You will have to call to modify your reservation. However, if your trip starts before free dining starts, they won't let you start the free dining when it becomes available even if you're in the park. The best thing to do is either move your vacation to around the free dining or do a split stay where you have one vacation for two days or however many before dining starts and then a new reservation for when the dining plan starts. It is confusing but if you call they will definitely help you out.
