Modify Reservation - Seven Dwarfs

Does anyone have any insight into why this is happening? I'm trying to modify a reservation for some friends who really want to stay at BLT. I have to borrow 28 points (well under the 50 percent limit) to make the modification. For 46 minutes, I have been getting the Seven Dwarfs on the final step of the modification. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Are the points from a direct contract or a resale contract? Some people have said they've had issues when borrowing from a resale contract and it requires a call to member services to get it to work.

For some unknown reason, some accounts can not borrow online since they did the restriction.

It seems to hit those with only resale points more often. It is not everyone though since I have no I issue with either membership, both which have resale points, bought before and after the change,

Its frustrating because if some accounts work, It seems like all they need to do is see why and make it work for all.

It is resale. It's strange because I've been able to borrow since the restrictions went into effect. I'll have to call. I'm mentally preparing myself for a two hour wait with MS. What's funny is the friends who are going are very interested in DVC. If they can't get what they want or they hear about what a mess this is, Disney may lose a potential sale.

EDIT: I can't even get through to MS. I get a busy signal or get kicked out.

Ok, then follow up question. You mentioned you have been able to borrow with no issue since the restriction went into place. Would this 28 pts put you over the restriction when looking at the total use year? The rule is per year not per reservation. Just curious....

No it wouldn't. I did the math and made sure. I will say that I borrowed much fewer points before. I think it was like 7, and I was borrowing from 2021 for a reservation in 2020. In this case, I'd be borrowing 28 points from 2022 for a reservation in 2021 (total I have 150 points per use year.
