Modge Podge question

I have never used Modge Podge, but I have read that a lot of you use it on the cardboard and also the plastic clipboards to hold your autograph cards.

I bought a 100 page notebook full of thick paper with plastic covers at Hobby Lobby for 2.50 :woot: The paper can be removed and printed on, and then put back into the book to use for autographs. THANKS to the person who posted doing this with the Archivers notebook in another thread. I have been bummed because I couldn't get to Archivers, but I think this will work beautifully if I can find something to decorate the covers.

I have some stickers, but I was wondering if Modge Podging would work on these covers and make it look like the stickers belong more? I considered just printing out one of the cover designs that you guys have made so beautifully onto white label paper and sticking it to the front of the notebook, but again I just think it will end up looking like a sticker I put on the front of a notebook and I want it to look integrated. I love the pages that just look like characters autographs. I think cutting those out would look awesome, and then would Modge Podging the top make it look like it all belongs on the cover?

P.S. I apologize if this has been asked before, the search function on this site only works for me occasionally. It says it is searching and an hour later it is stillllll searching.

And why do I get logged out every time I am idle for 5 minutes?? I think this site has issues.......or I do! LOL

Oh I did this with a clipboard! I did read somewhere (here on the DIS)-not sure if it was this thread or over in the Creative Community-the "steps" for putting this together.

Basically, I sandpapered (is that a word???) the clipboard, put the stickers on and layered and layered and layered and layered (I think there's 9 or 10 layers on there). It was certainly an afternoon project (to give the layers time to dry). I would also be sure if there's anything "sticking up" (like the back of the bolts on my clipboards) that you pay close attention to that area so the paper/stickers don't get air under them and pop up.

Here's the result (I know they're not perfect but my boys like them and that's what matters):
