On Thursday, 3/19/09, the History channel show "Modern Marvels" is showing "Walt Disney World - Behind the scenes at the Magic Kingdom; its original designs; what makes each park function."

The show starts at 8:00 AM and 2:00 pm and looks to last 2 hours.

I vaguely recall this has been on before. If so, has anyone seen it?

I'm hoping it is something more substantial than the shameless promotional videos shown on the Travel Channel, Samanatha Brown excluded, of course.

Yes, this special has been around a while. They even sell it at WDW. Definately worth watching, even worth recording:thumbsup2 .

Some of the features included the utiladoors, the design of Soarin', and the design of the Tree of Life. Plus much more.

isn't there a special on one of the other channels that shows everything that was done to the wonder when it was in dry dock for the refit?

"Modern Marvels" featuring Walt Disney World is at my public library.
It is a very good behind the scenes presentation.
:thumbsup2 to the show and to public libraries!

I seen it on the History Channel. I also got the DVD at the Library ***** stars :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 as well. Love seeing Expedition Everest under construction as well as the tree of life.
