Moderates at Christmas ?

I'm planning a December 2006 trip at Christmas time, I have a family of four and would really love to include My mom. I'd like to stay at the Wilderness Lodge but two rooms at a deluxe doesn't really fit my budget. How are the moderates at Christmas? Any suggestions?

Love it. Did POFQ at Christmas and it was great. Not crowded at all, decorations were nice and authentic, staff was great, there were even carolers there one morning....their voices were so beautiful singing Silent Night and O Holy Night it made me cry.
