Moderate Value resorts for family of 5

Hi All,

I know its really early days but we love to plan ahead.
We are wanting to go to WDW in 2020/2021 and we are looking for a resort that caters for family of 5, so 2 adults & 3 kids DS 17 ( probably classed as an adult by then) DD 14 & DD 4.
Are there resorts with suites or do we have to get 2 rooms connecting somewhere?

We have upcoming non Disney trips 2018 & 2019 so cant go to WDW any earlier then 2020 unfortunately.

Really will depend on budget and type of resort you want ...

POR, CBR
But the 5th person bed in them is a small fold down bunk so your oldest likely won't fit and not sure how that will impact your sleeping.

Ft Wilderness Cabins
Bedroom is small with queen and bunkbed, living room with sofabed

CSR has a few suites that will but they aren't really moderate rates

VALUE:

AoA Suite
Bedroom with queen, DR table is full murphy bed, living space is full sofabed

ASMU Suite
Bedroom with queen, LR with fold out full sofabed and single fold out chair and ottoman

If you are looking for a value suite, take a look at the family suites at AoA and ASMu.

We have found the Alligator Bayou rooms at Port Orleans Riverside with the fold down murphy bed to be an excellent choice for our family of 5. Less cost than a suite at the velue resorts if I remember right.

The murphy bed is a smaller twin size though

POR is a wonderful resort, plus it's a moderate instead of a value. Nicer amenities in general.
