which moderate resort suits young children (ages 4and 5 year old boys) the best. i was thinking the CBR but read many reviews that POR is the best one. AHHHHH im flip flopping my mind every day.

Your kids will like any of the moderate resorts. They all have great pools and play areas. We have stayed at POR and CSR and loved them both. We saw kids having fun at both pool areas. Choose the one with the theme that appeals most to you!

We hve stayed at both and all of us including DS enjoyed POR much better. The pool area was a lot of fun. We will not return to CBR. princess: pirate: :earboy2:

When my kids were younger, the pool slide made or breaked the pool ;)
They couldn't go on the one at CBR because it went into 5 feet of water (it was very short too), but they could go on the one at POR :) We would wait near the bottom to catch/help them :p

LOVE LOVE LOVE POR, plus you basically get 2 cool pools for the price of one because you can legally and legitimately go for a swim at POFQ's alligator themed pools. That pool is a bit bigger than the Ole Man Island pool. My kids who don't like big slides had fun on the slides at both of the pools. Another great feature of POR is being able to choose between a food court or a nice but not outrageously priced sit down dinner and you can get reservations same day ...even on Spring Break. There is also the option to take a boat to DTD, such a nice relaxing ride, day or night. You can rent boats, bikes and surrey bikes too. POR is our Disney home. In all fairness though I haven't stayed at any other resorts to compare it to, but I love POR so much I probably won't stay anywhere else.

Just to balance things out and make the decision tougher, we have stayed at all three moderates. CBR is our favorite!! We loved the laid back atmosphere. My kids aren't big on pool slides, so that didn't really matter to us much. When we stayed at POR, we liked it, but we all got a number of mosquito bites back there in the bayou.

We did not really like CSR as much as the other two. Felt too "conventioneer" to us.

We have stayed at both CBR and POR. My daughters love CBR. CBR is very laid back with beautiful themeing. We liked the bus service and the food court better than POR. We like CBR's main pool and the quiet pools. My daughters love the beaches and feeding the ducks. CBR is the only moderate for us. We're going the end of June to CBR and can't wait!

With kids that age I would probably consider staying at CSR. The Dig site looks awesome, even my teens want to stay there some time and swim in that pool. We like to eat at Pepper Market as well.

We just returned from CBR and a 6-day stay there.... my two sons (14 and 11) loved it.... we can't wait to go back! While the main pool isn't huge, it's fine, and the villages all have their own pools as well.... We stayed in Martinique, convenient to the food court, and that helped a lot -- great place to stay, the kids loved it!
