I know I keep asking this, but I just want to make sure I made the right decision, still not too late to change my reservations. Those that have stayed at more than one moderate, please let me know your preference and why. I would love details, pros/cons, etc. Our family of 5 has three girls age 6-10 (we are getting adjoining rooms with my parents), we don't spend much time in our room, we are on the go. However, I am slightly picky with the hotel, I like cheery, bright hotels. Your thoughts are appreciated, sorry I keep asking, just trying to make sure!

I think I already answered this question on one of your other posts, but basically, I think you'll be quite happy with POR. It's one of my favorite resorts. It's so very beautiful and I think you'll find that it's cheery. The ambiance along with the beautiful landscaping should win you over enough for you to make a repeat visit there.

Let me know if you have any other questions as I'd be happy to help.

I have only stayed at one moderate resort, Coronado Springs, but I LOVE it! If you want bright and cheery - it definitely qualifies. If you are from the southwest you may not like it because that's how it's themed, but if you're not from there or you really like southwest theming - then I highly recommend it. I'm sure EpcotFan will be posting here soon with thier CSR Website (which is fantastic), but here are some pictures from my last stay there.

Doesn't get much brighter than this!

Nifty panorama - did it work?

El Centro - where you'll find registration, the gift shop, the pepper market, and more.

One of the courtyards in the Casitas section at night.

I could post pics all day - I love that place.

By the way - which one did you initially chose, and why?

I have stayed at POR, CBR and CSR. I would never return to POR, I know I am in the minority here but I didn't like the grounds, the food court, the bus service or the people. I liked CSR and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again, I especially would recommend the pool there, it is great. I have to say I like CBR the best, I just love the whole Carribean atmosphere and enjoyed both stays there.

oh great :) so I have three responses with three different opinions. Maybe they're all great OR different personalities enjoy different places (the 2nd one is the one that baffles me).

You are always going to get differing opinions. What one person loves someone else doesn't care for. Disney has many choices so there is something for everyone. If you look at pictures you should see one that appeals to you. They are all moderates and not that much different expept for the theme.

My favorite moderate is Port Orleans French Quarter. This is a great moderate resort and is small. I've stayed at both POR & CBR and won't stay at either again. Found them way too spread out, as well as some other problems. When speaking with a few cast members, I asked about CSR and was told it is really spread out.

Since you are not planning on spending alot of time in the room, can I recommend either Pop Century or All Star Movies? We stayed at the Movies a few years ago and we were very pleased by this resort. We were in the Buzz building, found there was enough room for all of us and was a very quick walk to the main building, foodcourt, pool, buses, as well as the parking lot. Our room faced the Woody building and the courtyard. The kids had a blast here with all the oversized toys.
