I'm planning a last minute trip March 21-25 for just me and my 11 year-old son (first visit for both of us). I originally booked CBR when I thought we might have another adult along to have the 5th sleeper option, but now that it is just the two of us, I'm considering other option.
We only have 3 park days (still deciding which parks but definitely MK/Epcot). Having a water slide at the pool would be a plus and I prefer to have a quiet room if possible as I'm a super light sleeper. We will likely take hotel breaks each afternoon of our park days.
Considering:
-Keeping CBR - has the Skyliner and the food options from what I've seen online (I'm vegan and they have a few different plant-based options)
-POFQ - about the same price as CBR (onsite beignets a plus, but we likely wouldn't take advantage of the boat to Disney Springs since it is such a short trip)
-POR - same price as CBR
-Coronado Springs - Standard room is $50 less a night than CBR, or could do Tower for only about $10 more/nt.
-Pop Century - I don't love the theming from the pictures, but has Skyliner and would be about the same prices as a stand room at CS.
-All Stars - maybe Movies or Music?
Would appreciate any input. How worth it is it to stay somewhere with the Skyliner? And what is the appeal of the Gran Destino Tower at CS (nicer rooms? other perks?)
Thanks!
