Moderate or Deluxe

Ok, sticking with it and getting to planning for now. I'm going to try my best to keep things on the convenient side of where we're staying. No matter how long we go it's never enough time! I'm thinking we'll skip HS and DS this trip. Although, I really want to try some of the new restaurants. Oh well.

So, I'm going to go ahead and try to schedule the tea party and our signature dinner. I'm gonna try for Cali Grill. I love Artist Point, but there's not really anything fun about it. I'm undecided on ROL. At least dining packages haven't been released so I've got some time to decide. Hoping I can get everything we want!

I'm also planning a mother/daughter trip for next year with DD. I would like to do 7 nights but if I go for 5-6 nights I can do a deluxe. I'm undecided also. DD will be 12 and has requested the GF but I think that's just because she heard me talking about it. When I asked her again she said she doesn't really care.

If you schedule the standard tea and the GF at like 2 or 3 pm, it would be really easy to just hop on over to MK for MVMCP. They start letting people in for that at 4 pm.

With a 5 year old, for a special meal with adult flavors, I might try Sanaa at Kidani. It isn't necessarily a signature restaurant, but it is themed and unique and there are animals wandering the Savannah. Just a thought, although I'd definitely Uber to get over there. I'm not a huge fan of Cali Grill, but it can be fun during fireworks.

I did tea at 1:30. We'll be able to take our time and look at some GF shops. Then we'll monorail to the Christmas party.

With a 5 year old who will love where ever she stays, I would do the mod and have a 4th night with her at WDW!

Make sure to use touring plans reservation finder. It will be able to text you/email you as soon as they become available. I used it for a trip in November and got all of the ADRs that I wanted.

Enjoy! I will definitely say that once you stay in a deluxe, it will be tough to go back to moderate or value. Disney does an outstanding job with their deluxe resorts.

Haha! That's my issue. I'd love to stay in all the deluded eventually but I only have the most expensive ones left on my list! Unfortunately they're not in the budget for this trip.
