Moderate located near MK?

What's the closest moderate to MK? Is the transportation awful or decent? Thanks!

The closest would be Fort Wilderness Cabins, followed by POR/POFQ, CBR and then CSR. We've stayed at POR, POFQ and CBR and always had good bus service at all 3.

The cabins are the only moderate that offers any sort of bonus of being close to MK (boat). Other than that, you won't notice a difference in transportation time. Taking a bus might be 5 minutes faster between resorts, but you might end up waiting 10-15 minutes to get onto a bus that day, luck of the draw. We have stayed CSR and thought they had good bus service.

Just pick the moderate themeing that most appeals to you.

love the cabins. we have stayed there 4 times. it was very convenient with the boat having my daughter in a wheelchair, one less bus ride!

We stayed at CSR last week and had great bus service to all of the parks. Yes, the MK is the longest bus ride but it averaged about 13 minutes. The rides to all of the other parks were less than ten minutes. I would pick your favorite Mod and enjoy.

I remember thinking that the ride back from MK was a little long during my stay at POFQ, but thats right next to and some times shares a bus with POR.

As a rule the bus service at all the Mods is pretty decent. According to Google maps it is 6 miles to either CSR or POR. I would actually say CSR is the quickest not POR because its directly up the main highway to MK. But we are talking 2-3 mins either way.

POR is our fav moderate, mansion section. 99% of the time wdw transportation works very well.

We stayed at POR and got to MK in 10 minutes or less once we were on a bus. It was definitely the quickest ride of the four parks from POR.

Because POR/POFQ take a "back" route to MK, by Ft. Wilderness, that to me has always felt the quickest to MK from a mod.

But we have had great bus service from all the mods and we have stayed at all of them more than once.
