Has anyone asked and received help at Pearson Airport? I'm worried about standing in a long line for Customs. If my suitcase won't hold me up I'll be on the floor and I'll never get up:rotfl:

Have you thought about asking for a wheelchair when you get there? I know I've seen them.

Just call the airline and tell them that you will require assistance (ie: a wheelchair) and whether or not you will have someone in your party who can push it. They will arrange to have it at check in. They can also arrange a wheelchair at your destination arrival gate.

Definitely call ahead and get registered for the mobility assistance. They can provide a wheelchair (if you don't have your own like my FIL does) and someone to push it (if you're travelling on your own or don't have someone in your party that can push). You also get to check in at a separate counter (usually with much shorter lines) and go through the wheelchair lines at customs and security with your Air Canada escort. They'll wheel you right to the gate...they've got the system down to an art form.
