Mobile ordering????

Hi we’re headed to WDW in 2 weeks we have a large party ( 10-12 at different times) is mobile order a necessity? Will we be able to just walk in and eat at qs like before Covid?? Concerned because I’ve done most of the planning ( some of our party have never been) thanks in advance!

This is hit and miss depending on time of day and what restaurant. During the busiest lunch time, they want you to mobile order because they are limiting how many orders come into the kitchen at one time. If everyone just went around this and tried to walk up, then it would back the kitchen up. Your best bet for walking up is to go at off times.

All the QS location that I have been to allow walk ups. There no longer stopping people who don’t have mobile order confirmations. There’s only a couple of cashiers not like before Covid where they had cashiers at all registers. The line’s I noticed were pretty long even in the off hours. Since there not requiring mobile orders to enter the restaurant seating is back to being a nightmare especially during the summer.

We, a party of 8, loved doing mobile order and feel like it saved us a lot of time. A huge plus to it was that most of the open windows started “Now” meaning there was no wait for us to hit the button to prepare our order. One of the times we were there, we did mobile order and got our order at Pinocchio’s fairly quickly yet saw a huge line of others waiting to order.
