mobile ordering question..

This will be our first time at DW dealing with the new mobile ordering for quick service. Can you pretty much show up at any time and mobile order? Or do you have to pick slots ahead of time, as if its a reservation? We're planning on going from HS to Epcot to eat dinner at quick service spots at the world showcase, but just wanted to make sure you don't have to grab mobile ordering slots ahead of time. Thanks.
 
I personally have never had an issue getting a slot nearly immediately but I do know that Woody's is one that people seem to have to order hours in advance. When you order, you pick a time to pick it up. When you're ready for food, you click it and they make it. You can adjust your pickup time if needed (assuming there are open slots). We order food 20 or so minutes before we want to eat.

Most of the QS at Epcot don't even offer mobile ordering. The only ones that do are the Karamel shop, Regal Eagle, and the fish stand. Everything else is a walk-up-and-order. You can see who does by going into your app, clicking "order food" and scrolling through.
 
Although I’ve never had too much trouble I have heard Woodys is almost impossible unless you order in the morning for lunch. Getting a ronto wrap can also take a while in galaxy’s edge. Your best bet is to eat at off peak times or enter a mobile order early in the morning. Good luck!

At one time did Sunshine Seasons do mobile order? I kind of wish the Bakery in France did. That way I wouldn't have to stand in line and look at all those yummy-looking items. It seems that I always come out buying more than I intended because everything looks so good while I stand in line. Oh, wait-that's probably why they don't do mobile order! But what's with Sunshine Seasons?
Regarding the OP question, I went a few months ago, and although it seemed super-busy, I never had trouble getting my mobile order right away, even when it was prime lunch time.
