Mobile Ordering High Demand Items

Raspberry Macarons are basically priority #1 on our next trip, lol. I've read conflicting reports about high-demand items being sold out later in the day. If you order while the item is in stock, do they hold it for later pick up? If not, is there any indication in the app that the item is no longer available, or do you arrive at pick up only to find out that what you ordered is already sold out?

They will not hold it. They will cancel your order if it's just for that one item or refund you for it.

It will either disappear off the app when it's gone or never appear to begin with. That macaron is not always available to order via mobile, even when they have plenty of them in stock. The mobile menu for Jolly Holiday is VERY limited. There are plenty more options in person.

I ordered first thing in the morning, I think it was at around 8:10am that I ordered. I chose 1:30pm for pickup time, then modified it later in the day to 2pm. We then got stuck in line in a ride and when I tried to modify the time again I must have mistakenly hit "I am here" because then the order started to process. I immediately went after getting off the ride, was about 10 min late by that point, and they still had my order for me (of course, I apologized for the mixup). So they don't necessarily hold for later pickup, but you can absolutely choose a pickup time that is later in the day.
