Mobile Order With Gift Card - Do You Need Security Code?

That's the question in the thread title. I know you have to input the card number on every order, so it helps to have the number(s) in an easily accessible note app. But I cannot find any indication whether you need just the 16 digit card number (which includes 4 hidden numbers), or do you also need the Security code?

Thanks.

Just the 16 digit. I copied it in notes on my phone and just pasted every time I ordered. Makes no sense why it can’t be saved in MDE like a credit card can. But it’s Disney so I don’t expect any common sense from them.

Thank you very much and apologies for the late reply. I asked just before we left and it’s been a whirlwind, including get caught in the Christmas flight cancellation craziness. But I did get my answer and it helped. Agree about the saving - it’s especially annoying because when you input the card number the app prompts you to “Save” it, but it’s only saving it for that transaction.

If you set up charging privileges at your WDW resort, can you still apply gift cards to your account when you check in? I've already paid for my room and park tickets, but I have a couple of gift cards that I plan to use for other purchases including some meals.

I've read conflicting reports here regarding whether you can or can not apply gift cards to your account when you check in. However, you can definitely visit the front desk periodically during your stay and pay down your resort account using gift cards.

Thanks. I was just thinking that a 4-digit pin for room charges would be easier than keeping up with the gift cards. Applying them to the account a couple of days into the trip would be fine if I couldn't use them at check in.
