Mobile Order Question

Our trip is in 2 months and I've been planning out our meals and possible places we want to grab snacks. One thing I really want this time is a Gaston's Tavern cinnamon roll and I know most QS places are mobile order only now. Is this one of them? I ask because the past couple of days I have checked, I don't see this location come up for mobile order times at all. Does this also mean that when times fill up, you can't order from a place that is "full?" If that makes sense. I've been checking during the hours it is open. I've actually noticed quite a few QS places that are supposed to be open don't show up on mobile order, so I'm also wondering if maybe you don't actually have to mobile order everywhere like I thought.

I don't think they have mobile order at Gaston's Tavern. They definitely did not when I was there three months ago.

A lot of the places that only serve snacks rather than meals don't have mobile order. Same for QS places not run by Disney.

Ok that's good to know thanks! I was under the impression that you had to mobile order everywhere.

But do the places that have MO, will they shut off the service if they get too many orders for a day?

Mobile order locations do not generally shut down when they get too many orders, rather you will find during busy times that your pick-up window will be pushed out further from the time you may be ordering thereby spreading out demand. The QS restaurants do not close during peak demand dining hours, thereby they are able to fulfill all orders. During the Christmas season last month maxing out orders at a QS restaurant was never a concern.

GT did not have mobile ordering when we were there Christmas week but it seriously should have. I was hoping to get a cinnamon roll one morning but the line just to get in snaked on and on and I didn't see the end so no cinnamon roll for me .

It IS possible that they will fill all the slots on a very busy day. We wanted to mobile order at The Wave To Go on New Year's Eve and noticed that even in the morning the available dinner hour slots were quite late on some of the days during that week; luckily we snagged a cancellation and got an actual table reservation. On an average day most places will have mobile order slots available but you might have to bit a while to get one (usually an hour or less).

The original question inquired about the Quick Serve dining process. I would not consider "to go" meals from The Wave Quick Serve.

I haven't been on here for a long time, so I hope asking this question I'm not going to be flamed. When I go to place a MO, are there time slots to select from? Thank you and I'm sorry if I am asking this on an incorrect thread.

Correct. And if you want till 11 to place a lunch order it is possible that there won't be an available time slot until 2pm or so if it's a popular place so if you want to eat at a specific time it is best to go on and reserve the time slot early.

If you want to eat at a specific time, you can do your mobile ordering in the morning, picking your time slot. You have to wait until your time slot is open to hit I’m here prepare my food button.

I will say even over MLK weekend never saw anything more than like a 10-20 min out wait when I looked.

You could check the app while at home just to see what it looks like for return times.

Yes, the list of available time slots comes up first! Click the one you want, then continue to place your order.

Do you have to order then or can you just reserve a time?
