Has anyone used the Mobile Magic app from Verizon? The info online says that you can get wait times and use the GPS on your phone to direct you to attractions, restaurants, ect. I was wondering if anyone has had success or failure with the app. I assume that 4G is available at Disneyland.

I have a 4G phone, and had a hard time getting service while at DL in January this year. I thought it was strange because I felt Anaheim would have 4G service (it is right off I5 for crying out loud). I have no idea if it was my phone or what. I am going next week (with a new phone) so I will see how it goes.
I haven't used the verizon app (I have Sprint), but I like Touring Plans application. They provide wait times, crowd calculators, etc. Nothing with GPS though that I am aware of.

Verizon works very well at DL and the app is a lot of fun. I haven't used the GPS portion of the app, but the wait times are helpful and the trivia game is fun to do in line.

I just used the app this past weekend! Loved it! Although service is spotty around the parks (I have AT&T) the app still worked well. This is the only app that actually provides actual wait times and fast pass return times from Disney. The info is not based on historical data or user input which all other apps use.

Having FP return times, show schedules, and actual wait times was such a great benefit! The only downfall was killing my iphone battery quickly from using it so much!

Thanks for the tip. They have it in the Android MArket through Sprint so I am going to check it out too.

Sounds like the app is going to work out well. It sounds great to have wait times that are provided by Disney. I have a Razr Maxx and the battery lasts about forever so I'm hoping to get a lot of use. I've heard other people say that cell service is spotty at DLR. They should make the entire park wi-fi! That would be sweet.

I was there a week ago and used both Mobile Magic and Mousewait. Some of the attraction times on Mobile Magic were incorrect; one example was it showed Muppets open until 9 but the last show was really at 5. Otherwise I enjoyed it and had no problems with coverage. The features I like best were the wait times and you could see which characters were out; including which was closest to you.
