Watched the movie last night and it was so much fun

I saw it last night (GOTG2), and it was indeed another great entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I maybe felt it wasn't as tight as the first one, funnier, but a spread a little thin, and the soundtrack was not as good, but overall I still really liked it. I'd like to see more of the Ravager incarnation of the original Guardians as they all made cameos!

Last week, I rented the first Guardians movie from Redbox. If there's a Redbox near you, you can check online to see if they have it. It was $1.50 plus tax.

i don't like 3D either. AMC 24 at DS had the 7pm showing in regular D

I love to see the characters out (especially the princesses in their home (?) countries in Epcot), but almost never spend the time to do the M&G - I'm such a nerd that baby Groot may make me commit to the time just for a groot pic!

I just did a post-mortem on my recent consulting gig this morning, so it's wrapped and hopefully it's relaxation time for a few months - that means, I'm going to try to catch GOTG next Monday/Tuesday during an early matinee and I'm hoping for a not too crowded theater and that I don't hear any spoilers until then!

Just left the theater and Vol 2 is beyond fantastic. Never have I been in a movie theater where the entire audience laughed so much. Super funny with alot of action and a few touching moments that brought a few tears to my eyes. Vol 2 blew Vol 1 out of the water and I absolutely loved Vol 1. We'll go see it again on Sunday when DH gets back in town. I'm super stoked for the HS M&G next Friday. I AM GROOT.!!!!

But Star-Lord? I don't know...it's kind of like a meet and greet with Luke Skywalker, but it's not Mark Hamill.

and that is the biggest problem with real life characters.
Animated characters translate easier into meet and greets but when you see an actor on film it is hard to have a believable meet and greet

They should have had Baby Groot and Gamora or Rocket. Not some guy playing Chris Pratt who plays Star-Lord.
