Moana meet and greet

look at this piece of info from the Disney Park Blog:
Now, Moana is setting out on another journey, to visit with guests at Disney destinations around the world. Moana arrived at Aulani, a Disney Resort Resort & Spa in Hawaii this week, to meet Guests and recount tales of adventure. Later in the month, she will make her way to Disneylandpark in California and Walt Disney World Resortin Florida.


Does anybody now when she Will arrive?

No, but I want to know! We're hear until Sat, so hoping before then. If I get a chance, I'll ask a CM today if they know.

No date announced, but in the comments section, it says she'll be meeting in Adventureland, near Jungle Cruise. I'm trying to envision where that would be, but the only place(s) that come to mind are where Aladdin, Genie, Jasmine, and/or Jafar tend to meet. I wonder if that means they'll move, or if they've put Moana somewhere else in that area.

I´m with you figment on the place where she should meet. I can´t imagine that they move Aladdin/Genie/Jasmine out of the parks.
It makes me curious. Only time will tell.

I would have thought that the Aladdin's Oasis would make a good location, but with the PtN packages being offered, I wasn't sure if that precludes them from using that area for a meet and greet. Hopefully whatever plan they do have will keep traffic flowing through Adventureland!

That rumor doesn't really make sense to me. I've seen Jasmine there, but Aladdin? Then Belle may as well bring Beast. Not that I'd complain.

Aladdin was Meeting at this Little gazebo Thing across from the Tiki Room one day in October. Maybe that would be an Option.

The rumor I saw on another site had Jasmine and Aladdin becoming part of the rotation at the umbrella outside of Fantasy Hall (along with Belle and Rapunzel/Flynn.) This would bump Merida out to become a roaming character on a less regular basis.

We went to see Santa over in the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail today and my 5 yr old was wearing a Moana shirt. One of the elves struck up conversation about it and told us that what they've been told is Moana will arrive tomorrow, meeting in Adventureland where Genie currently meets and that Jasmine and Aladdin will be going to the Princess Fantasy Fair. She didn't say exactly where, but the belief of the outside area makes sense to me. So sounds like this matches up to the rumors going around.

We'll be in DL tomorrow, and this is on our to do list, so I'll be sure to report back either way.

Just wanted to updated that Moana is now on the times guide on the app. Hopefully we're able to see her today without a crazy wait.

Wow, she listed with five sets today, each only 15 minutes long. It'll be interesting to see how it goes and how long of a line there will be for her. Good luck!

(On a related note, Aladdin and Jasmine are now showing up as being over in Princess Fantasy Faire (outside location), but no Genie or Jafar listed anywhere that I saw.)

She has arrived. CMs have said she'll start at 10am. Signs are up and line has formed. For anybody curious, the line is not wheelchair accessible so the choices are a return time (although they are unsure how that will work with how busy they expect it to be) or have one member of the party wait in line and meet up inside.

Well it turns out it was actually in that open courtyard area between Aladdin's Oasis and Jungle Cruise, but the line goes up into Aladdin's Oasis after starting from the other side (Tiki Room side). It was just the wording the CM used with us.

So far it is being handled well and she is taking lots of time with each family. She is super nice and asked my kids a lot of questions. Glad we did this now though before word gets out all around
