I have never been to MNSSHP

we are thinking about getting tickets in October, we will not be going for the charcters or the candy just the rides..

I have been told that you can get in around 4 even though the info says 7pm anyone know if this is true?

Thanks for your help

Historically they have allowed folks to enter at 4 pm using their MNSSHP tickets. It's not announced/advertised so we won't know for sure until the first party happens.

Thanks Still deciding if we want to do MNSSHP or just add hopper to our 2 day tickets or both lol

It really depends on what you want to do during the day of the party. The party is a lot of fun. It has my favorite fireworks show (HalloWishes) and parade (Boo-To-You). There are trick-or-treat stations throughout the park and lots of unique character meet and greets. The forecourt stage show is fun and there are also character dance parties. Most of the rides are open (some, like Jungle Cruise and Carousel of Progress are not open) and the lines are typically shorter, especially towards the end of the party.

If they do let you in at 4 pm using the party ticket then you have three (non-party) hours to ride things and eat in the park. You won't need a regular ticket or a hopper to get in. My family likes to spend the morning to early afternoon at one park (say Epcot) and then head over to MK for the evening.

With only a two day ticket, I would err towards MNSSHP. You could spend the morning/early afternoon in one park and then the evening/night at MK.

If you're just going for the rides, I would honestly say it isn't worth it. A few hours of shorter lines when not every attraction is open for $80.00 not worth it. If you plan on actually seeing the fireworks, parade, more rare characters, and the special stuff, then yes, it's worth it.

They have been allowing this, but we can't say for sure what they'll do this year.

The park is pretty crowded from 4:00 to 7:00. You won't be looking at short lines at those times.

Tickets this year after tax are $62.79 and we will be seeing the parade and fireworks but not characters, candy or other special events !!

If you go to the locked sticky Everything About WDW Tickets in this Forum, especially Post #16, you can get a lot more information. An easy way to get to the sticky is by clicking on the link in my signature. The ticket sticky is your friend!

Good morning,
Sorry to say that our touring group has been to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party since 2007. Therefore, if anything has changed since, please forgive us.

As I recall, the park allows partygoers to enter at 4pm. Yes, the party itself begins at 7pm. The Boo to You Parade runs at 8p and 10p, so I recommend the latter one. I also recommend a great viewing spot for either is at the Main Street Train Station. If you decide to view it there, you can watch the entire parade coming down or going up (depending on which time you see it) Main Street USA.

Happy Hallo Wishes, the fireworks show is only at 9PM.

The seven dwarfs are usually near Dumbo. However, with the Fantasyland expansion, I'm not sure if that is still the case.

The Disney Villains Mix and Mingle at the Castle Fourecourt Stage is usually something like every 45 minutes. The cast will come down in front of the castle after the finale of the show for pictures only. Sadly, no autographs.

Several of the hit rides are open during the party. I suggest seeing them towards the end of your evening. Get your candy first!

*Note: I suggested viewing the parade from the Train Station. It is possibly the best view. However, you will not get candy during the parade from up there.

Hope this helps! And Good Luck!

I would agree with this statement. If you're not going to go to experience any other part of the party, then you can go during EMHs and do the same thing.
