Should we do MNSSHP with a 16 month old? I would love to go, but I am on the fence about going with our daughter. Will she enjoy it?
Thanks in advance! :)

Well the baby is too young to do the trick or treating but the characters are dressed in Halloween costumes so you can get some great pictures, there is a special parade and fireworks show......and the cost for the baby is free so it would just be your tickets......

We are taking our 14 mo DD, but it is really more for our 4yr old DS....ok, and me! She is going to wear a costume...and get to see things but most of her part with be photo ops. DS is going to be cRaZy!

Since the party starts at 7:00, I'd be concerned about how late she'd be able to stay up to enjoy the festivities. My kids would have been nodding off early in the evening at that age, but if your dd can stay up later, then perhaps that's not an issue.

If she's pretty good about napping, maybe you can schedule a later (and hopefully long) nap that day before the party. Then, she'll be awake enough to enjoy the characters and the trick-or-treating (photo ops with the characters!) for a while. Make sure she's in a comfortable costume--nothing too warm in Florida and nothing itchy.

If you go, have a good time!

HI,

We are taking 18 mos DS. I've read on another site that people recommend that you spend the afternoon at the hotel resting. We'll be there Sept 29! Can't wait!
