MNSSHP: where do you get your wristbands?

We received, in the mail, 4 plastic cards for MNNSHP. We are not planning to enter MK until 4pm . Where does one exchange the cards for wristbands?

There will be a line of CMs just after the ticket entrance to put a band on you. You will not get past them without a band, it's a wall of cast members. I've heard there is a couple other spots if your in early but never needed them as I enter after 4pm also. Dont' forget to grab a paper map, they are specific to the party and will have what is opened food wise and where the trick or treating spots are located. The trick or treating spots will have bags to hold candy if needd (and they will give you many of them if needed).

Want to make sure, Accident.... we do NOT need an admission for MK that day if we are coming in for MNNSHP, Correct? We do have an ADR for Crystal palace at 5pm but hoping to sneak in one not-so-popular ride.

If you go in before 4, you need a normal ticket. Anyone can go in after 4, but if you have a party ticket you get in and your wrist band. If you don't have a party ticket your kicked out at 7 (nicely)

short answer is yes you only need the party ticket if you go in after 4.

I've been to MNSSHP 3 times now so I probably should know the answer to this but if someone walks in after 4pm with a regular ticket or magic band, what is stopping them from walking right over to the CM's with the wristbands?

there are some entrances for party people and others for day guests they know the difference

Day tickets will not work on the "party side" entries. When you go over to the West side of the entries to use the "day park ticket" entrance, there will be ropes and CM's stationed at various points to not allow entry from that side into the party side where the wristband distribution takes place.

For those that are already in the park prior to 4pm, for the last few years, wristbands may be gotten at Tortuga Tavern and between the Tomorrowland Bridge and Stitch's Great Escape. I would assume we will be doing them in those locations again this year although it hasn't been announced yet.

Good to know! I guess I've just always been so excited walking in that it just never registered with me to remember that I went in a separate entrance that was roped off.

You are given hard tickets for the event; these can also be attached to your magic band but I always insist we take the hard tickets also in case of issues. When they scan your MB they know if you have a special event ticket attached to it just like the scanning of your hard ticket, if you don't have one or the other you will not get a wristband.
