Right now I have a 4:30 pm reservation at Liberty Tree Tavern ...we want to be in the park and such since we are going to the party and if things run late we are already in the park.

But I notice a few people have asked about MNSSHP ADRs and Times so I was wondering if those with experience with the party and ADRs within the park could share their experience and what time they would make a reservation for in order to maximize party time!

Also if you have any MK Hotel dining experiences and time suggestions..those are welcome too!

I think that your 4:30 time is good. We always plan on counter service for our party night. We eat around 5 or 5:30 so that we're finished before the festivities really gear up at 7pm.

i had contemplated counter service... but DF isn't overly big on CS meals ... oh well :)

So do you find the festivities gear up much before 7?

Another CS here. We have done the dinners before, this time we are doing lunch at CP then going back to rest.

I think 4:30pm is just fine, they bring out the food promptly and it shouldn't take as long anymore since the characters aren't there.

Every year we do CP at about 4 or 5 pm. We pig out, stroll around to digest and are ready to party until midnight!

I voted 4 p.m. just because it was the earliest option and I think the earlier the better when it comes to dining before the special parties. But with that said, I think you'll be fine with your 4:30!:goodvibes We did a 6:30 ADR at LTT before MVMCP a couple years ago and we ended up missing too much of the party for our liking.

My vote was for 4:30pm, we actually have ADRs for CRT at 4:20pm on our MNSSHP day. I really don't have any experience with this but figured that 4:20pm should give us ample amount of time to eat, see the princesses, and be out before the 7pm party starts.

We never do dining at restaraunt the night of parties. We just wingit and go to a CS place when we feel hungry and want a fun break. Halloween Party we go to Cosmic Rays, and the kids dance and have a blast. Christmas Party we go to Peco Bills for a break and some food just before the parade and the kids sit on the curb and watch the parade.

If I had to pick a time to eat sitdown it would be early around 4:30.

No, nothing really starts before 7. They might start playing some Halloweenie music or something, but that's about it. Between 6 and 7 is basically dedicated to ushering non-party guests out of the park. They don't start party festivities until the daytime guests are mostly gone.

I think your LTT at 4:30. I wouldn't do a TS that wasn't in MK on a party night though.

What's worked for us is to have the latest lunch possible at a resort restaurant or at Epcot and then be free to go to the party at 4:00 and enjoy. If we get hungry later we get something at Cosmic Ray's.

4:30PM Should be good, especially since the party doesn't officially start until 7PM. You'll be out in plenty of time. I did LTT once, but have since scheduled dinners at some fo the Monorail resorts.

Wristband distribution starts at 4PM at the main gate, so we usually get that first and then go for dinner and then come back. I'd recommend getting your wristband prior to your dinner, so you don't have to go all the way back to the front of the park again after, if you don't want too.

Thanks everyone for all your help!
I figured since the food was pre plated and no characters that it would go quicker. I wouldn't have minded CS but men can be so picky teehee. Also its his first disney trip and my like 10th so im excited to plan the trip for him to enjoy.

Thanks for the grab wristband tip first that will be useful.
Gotta love the disboards;)

I vote none of the above - if it's your DFs first trip and he's really that selective I'd consider one of the resort restaurants on the monorail loop for an early ADR then go to the park - lots of tasty options that way.

I'm not sure if LTT will still be serving the same dinner menu by then, but if they are it's not all that... might as well go counter service :confused3

One of his favourite meals is Thanksgiving dinner:) I explained the stuffing and mac n cheese are stouffers but he's excited ... I dont see the difference between a cheeseburger and stove top stuffing... but Im pretty simple lol.. I am content with Disney pizza (yikes!!!)

Which resort restaurant would you recommend we are already doing Whispering Canyon, Kona and Ohana earlier in the week. So that leaves the Wave and GFC as we are on the regular DDP and dont have credits to spare?

I voted for the 4pm time to maximize the party, but I actually wouldn't do any of them. We have a large, late lunch elsewhere, then will do CS on the party night to make the most of our time in the MK. I'm sure that if you eat at 4 or 4:30 you'll be fine, though.

We have ADRs at Whispering Canyon at 5:15 - that is the earliest we could get there. I figured that the CMs would have a good time with our large party dressed up for the festivities. This is my immediate families 2nd trip there, but the 1st for the other 7! :cool1: Can't wait to ask for ketchup!:lmao:

We are booked for 5.30 at Chef Mickey, and are going to walk to the party from there. I thought a buffet was a good idea so we can control how long we are there!

Its our first MNSSHP (just me and DH). I am a bit panicked about being the only people in CM in costumes, so was planning on getting changed in the restrooms after eating, or am I being a bit silly?!!!
