MNSSHP vs MVMCP

I want to take my daughter (will be 5) to one or the other next year. Just wondering which one you all prefer & why.

I have done both on seperate trips and next month I am doing both again in one trip, so I can give you a better opinion after that.

I enjoyed both parties, but my kids were 3 1/2 and 1 1/2 and 14 for the Halloween party, so I don't think THEY got that much out of it.

Last year, for the Christmas party (which we did Thanksgiving week YIKES) they were 3 and 5, (16yo stayed @ the resort by herself after fighting with me) and loved the parade, etc. BUT I was recovering from surgery, not very mobile and on a scooter, so I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would.

They are 4 and 6 now, and I am getting around a bit better (still might need a scooter but gonna try to survive without it,) and I am really looking forward to seeing them enjoy both parties.

I will let you know how we make out when we get back!!!

Thanks! Please let me know. I don't know much about what goes on other than rare characters & the parade, but I really want to go to one or the other (hopefully both one day).

We did both last year... We had never done either before and loved both of them.... I think it will be a personal preference on which is better... The Halloween was awesome because many people dressed up, you could trick or treat at stations (and they are very generous... adults too) and the Hallowishes and Boo to You Parade were amazing.... We did the very first MVMCP and I have to say it was very very special... Watching my 11 yr dd face as she saw all the decor and the snow on Main St USA was touching...

I've never done the Christmas party (although it's on my Bucket List!), but I've heard from many, many, many people that MNSSHP takes the prize! Trick-or-treating around the Magic Kingdom is so fun, the parade is excellent, you see characters (villains) out that are never out the rest of the year, and Hallowishes is arguably their best firework show. We're going to our 4th and 5th parties next week and I can't wait!

If I had to choose I would pick MNSSHP hands down, it is my favorite! I am actually going to the Halloween party on Monday last time I went to the Halloween party was 5 years ago, I'm so excited!!!

We've done both..and LOVE both. With that said, Christmas is our favorite time of year so I would pick MVMCP hands down.
