I done both, and far prefer
MNSSHP! I guess part of my problem with
MVMCP was there was no "goal" to it, and less to partcipate in. I guess I felt it wasn't too much different than a normal park day. I mean, it was nice to see decorations and all, but there were few rare characters out, and I felt just not alot going on. I actually started getting bored! The parade is awesome at MVMCP, though, and the shows are excellent.
But I LOVE MNSSHP!! I love dressing up, and seeing everyone else in costume, too! Some people have wonderful costumes, it really amazing how much time some people spent on them! At the party, there is a goal - to go around the park trick-or-treating and see what candy you get! And also the parade and the song they used last year really gets you into the mood! And of course, MNSSHP is the place to find many rare characters, especially villains. Just so much atmosphere going on! And it's very different than a normal park day! Just seems like there is more to do, and more to be a part of at MNSSHP.
For this year, I can't wait for MNSSHP (if I can sneak in a trip to go!)

I have no plans to do MVMCP again anytime soon. I get the feeling here on the DIS that more prefer MVMCP, but I am a definite MNSSHP person!
