Cast:

Me (29)-- overly obsessed w/ WDW!!
DH (29)-- Humors me in my obsession
DS (11)-- Taking the same path as DH :(

Just a quick background on this trip:

We were just there in March w/ my MIL (some may remember that report)- anyhow it was less than magical. We really wanted to return w/ just the 3 of us to try and regain some magic. As our trip before the March trip also included family. Anyhow, we waivered on dates a lot and really had nothing set in stone. I came upon some extra work, made the money and asked DH if we could go for a short, early birthday gift trip. He agreed-- pretty much to please me. The trip was planned in exactly 4 weeks and 4 days.
Fast forward to the day prior to leaving. I was in the ER and thought I may have appendicitis. Everytime a nurse or the doctor, or xray tech asked if I still had my appendix I replied that I did and it was staying put, because I had to go spend my money in Florida-- they needed it too much for me to cancel due to surgery. Anyhow, turned out to be a pretty bad bladder infection that I was able to still travel with.

We flew Southwest Buffalo to MCO. Got a great $49 rate for the way there. After arriving about 90 minutes early we got the coveted "A" boarding passes. Which was good because the plane was almost filled to capacity. Which actually suprised and worried me. I really wanted low crowds. I sold DH on the low crowds. Our flight was uneventful. Used Alamo for our rental car-- great rate there as well. The line looked long, but moved quickly. They were actually pretty nice this time. I've had good to awful expierences with them. I keep using them for 2 reasons. First being they are usually the cheapest. Second the fact they don't take a security hold deposit on your card.

We were staying on site for the first time and I was about jumping out of my skin. We've gone plenty of times, but never stayed on site. This trip we booked a room at the Dolphin. When we checked in-- the lobby took my breath away. It was gorgeous. There was no line and we were waited on right away. Our room was also ready and it was only noon.

I had a balcony, preferred view room booked (I believe). Anyhow, we were on the 6th floor and I'll have to double check the room number, but our view was incredible. We could see the EPCOT ball up close and personal. I could see Cirque De Soliel building as well as France and UK in Epcot. Both the check-in clerk and Bell services gentleman said we'd have an incredible view of Illuminations. They weren't kidding. I practically felt like I was there. It was one of the highlights of our trip. We could also watch the PI fireworks at night too.

These pictures don't really do the view justice, but here is the Epcot ball and France's Eifel Tower from our balcony.
