Hey guys, I have a question -- I purchased two MNSSHP tickets for Oct 27... unfortunately I had to bump up my vacation one week forward to the weekend of the Oct 20... so now I have these tickets for the event...

Any idea what i can do with them... since disney won't exchange them for the other date...

I love getting news like that after i purhcase tickets for party of the senses on Oct 21... you'd think they would make exceptions for loyal customers ((been to disney 12 times this year))...

Sigh... suggestions or ideas? I really hate to lose the money...

You could try selling them on eBay. It seems like the ones I've seen there are selling. Barrie

I would call the Disney number and explain. I read another post where someone else was in a simular situation. She was instructed to mail them back (keep a copy) and they would mail her the new tickets for the new date.

It's certainly worth a try, and it that did not work (call again and talk to a different CM-lol) or then do ebay.

thanks for the advice... I guess since I already ordered the new ones for the other weekend i should just drop these on ebay... hopefully they will sell...

I can't wait for my trip next month! wooohooo

Now if i could only afford a disney cruise

We've been able to go to Guest Services in the past and exchange our MNSSHP tickets for a different day. It won't really help in your case since you've already ordered the new tickets, but usually if you bring the tickets with you, they can tell you were the original purchaser and will just trade them. Just make sure you don't try to do it the day of the event you want to attend or it may ending costing more money if the previous tickets had an advance purchase discount.

We had a trip planned a few years ago, and about a week before the trip my husband got the flu so bad, he had to go to the hospital. We had to cancel the whole trip. We sent our MVMCP tix back to Disney with a letter explaining the situation, and they refunded our money (put it back on our credit card). That is one of the main reasons why we keep going back (Disney seems to always try to be nice and do the right thing).

DEFINITELY EBAY THEM!! At least you could get something back for them if WDW won't do a refund. More than likely that will be a "sell-out" night as it is on a weekend, especially the weekend before Halloween, definitely go for Ebay. You could probably get "face-value" for them (or even more but unfortunately you can't sell them for more than I believe $1 over face value-FL law).

I would think they should make some kind of allowance for a great customer like you. You might call customer service (if there is one and try again.) Its not like you want to return them just exchange them. Who knows being a little persistant might help.
