MNSSHP Sept. 29th- Thoughts?

I will be picking up my daughter for a local college after her last class on Fri., Sept. 29th, and heading to the MK for the MNSSHP that day. Unfortunately, I'm just in town for the weekend, and Friday's party is the only one she can attend. Will it be super-crowded? I am an AP holder and would like to take advantage of the discount. Is there a chance that it may sell out? I'm weighing the pros and cons of waiting to make sure that the particular date won't be a rain out. When should I purchase the tickets by?

We just bought our tickets for 10/17 last week. From what I have read, the chances of them selling out are pretty slim.
