Well, we've just returned from our very first MNSSHP on 10/20/06.
First of all, I must say how impressed my DH and I were with the Boo To You Parade. We went to the first parade and got a fantastic spot in front of the Hall of Presidents about 15 minutes before the parade started. We were right behind the ropes, so we got to see everything. The Headless Horseman was amazing. We were sitting right at a bend of the parade route, so he couldn't gallop by us. We got a very good look at him.
The CMs did a phenominal job of making sure all guest that were not wearing a wristband were not in the park after the party started. Even later on when we were walking through the arches leading from Fantasyland to Liberty Square (by the Haunted Mansion) there was a CM there checking wristbands. Great Job CMs!!!
The party was sold-out on that night, but we walked on to every ride. I think the longest wait was about 20 minutes and that was our fault because the parade had just ended and it was to see a character. My son got so many compliments on his costume (he was Tigger) from CMs and guests alike. When we stood in line to see Tigger, we could hear the person inside the Tigger costume making kissing noises at my son because they were dressed the same.
The candy was plentiful although it was slow moving on the walkway from Toon Town to Tomorrowland. My son got lots of packages of raisins.
We loved every minute of it and will be returning next year!
