MNSSHP - print at home question

I am buying 2 tickets for my 2 DDs for MNSSHP. One is currently in the college internship and is down there, and the other daughter is flying down to visit her for the weekend. I want to buy them tickets for MNSSHP and it is too late for them to be shipped to me (and the DCP apt mail is always late so i don't want to worry about them not arriving for her).

For Will Call, she would need to show the credit card, and she will not have it. I see there is a "print at home" option. It looks like I can add the tickets right onto their magic bands since we are linked. I know it is a good idea to also bring the hard ticket that I will print. My question is, if they need to scan the tickets that I print, will they ask to see the proof of how it was paid for (in other words are they going to ask to see the credit card that I used to charge for the tickets, since she will not have that card in her possession?)

I think I would go with at home option and it will be fine. Hard ticcket you print at home might show last 4 digits of credit card and all other numbers would be encrypted. I think they will show up on MB's with no problems.

Thanks...I just ordered them, and they showed up on their MDE so i am sure it will be ok.

It's actually much easier to enter MNSSHP by using the print at home ticket rather than scanning the MagicBands. There is a separate entrance for "print at home" guests - they enter to the left of the Party tapstiles and there is no line to get in!!

iPad CMs scan the tickets and then guests are sent to pick up their wristbands. Have your DDs enter with the paper tickets!

Thanks...I just realized a possible problem.

DD#1 is going down to visit DD#2 who is a current DCP. I bought DD1 a 2 day hopper which she will use Friday and Monday and DD2 will use her maingate guest pass to get her sister in during the day to AK on Sunday before the mnsshp Sunday night. If they go to the party starting at 4 and DD1 uses her magic band to enter the party, could there be a chance it would use the one hopper left that is intneded to be used on Monday?

The Party tapstiles are set to only search the Party ticket database to confirm the valid Party ticket. There shouldn't be a problem.

Went last week twice and used the Print At Home option. When we got to the MK they sent us to the left four turnstiles and they had hand scanners to scan our tickets. We left all our MBs in the room.

For anyone else who might have an issue.
- Buy it Print At Home
- Print if for yourelf
- If sending to others when you go to print just change your printer to PDF and save.
- Email the tickets as attachments.
- They print them and go to the turnstiles where they scan them.
- No MB or ID needed.

True but in the park if you want to use fast passes from 4-630 you'd need a magic band, I don't think you can access them with paper tickets?

If the tickets are linked to your MDE profile where your MB is linked, you can access FPs at the FP tapstiles.

Having a ticket linked to an MDE account does not mean you have to use the MagicBand to enter a park.

yes you can enter with paper/hard tickets and then if you bring magic bands use fast pass. I was referring to the poster who said they left magic bands in their room. Or if you want to use your MB for photopass/automatic ride photos.

I got the hard tickets, but do I need them if they are linked to my account? I have a magic band with a regular pass for 7 days, and they all show up on my account.

If the ticket entitlements are linked to your MDE account you don't need to take the hard tickets.

We didn't link our hard tickets to MDE and found that the tapstile process was more rapid than when linked to MDE. We also discovered the system does not attach a biometric to party tickets. We left the party, ate at Cali Grill, and then returned without the need to scan our fingers.

Correct. We arrived probably around 5, all in our party are AP holders so this party FP was not a priority. I actually had my MB with me but did not use it. You can still do the same process just not use MB to get in. We had been at Universal all day so we were going in early to eat before the party started.

My info was more related to someone like OP trying to buy tickets for someone else and what may be easiest. Like my DD and DS have their own MDE and MB attached there so this would be best if I were buying for them.
