Mnsshp on halloween?

We will be there from the oct 28-nov 4, we did the halloween party last year on halloween and it was a crowded, I'm wondering if this year we should pick a different date? For some reason though the idea of going on halloween just seems awesome and I can't get it out of my head- even though I know it's the most popular. Has anyone else been during halloween week and done the party a different day? If so what did you do on halloween? Just wondering if other parks or resorts offer special activities. Thanks!

MNSSHP is just about the only Halloween event at WDW anymore. Most of the MNSSHP parties will be sold out the week of Halloween, so there should be no difference in crowd levels.
