They don't really end it. They cancel them before start time for tropical storms/hurricanes. Other than that it's pretty much go time. Rarely there will be a party where partial compensation is issued if numerous elements of the party are cancelled- happened earlier this year to a party and to a party last year.It poured it down back in September. and we huddled in a store until it stopped. It didn't, so we carried on towards Tron. It slowed down after we got off, but boy were we damp!
What is the limit for them ending a MNSSHP?
Normally the unused party ticket value must be applied to another hard ticket event, not a regular park ticket.@Maleficent53 what do you think your options are? AFAIK an unused ticket has exactly 1 option- put it toward another WDW ticket. Definitely toward a party ticket, maybe toward a park ticket.
This is what I was told when I had unused Jollywood tickets last year. Couldn’t even use them for an Enchanted Extra. Definitely not applied to regular park admission tickets. We even had a documentation and a good reason that we missed the party. My husband was in the emergency room, but that didn’t seem to matter at all.Normally the unused party ticket value must be applied to another hard ticket event, not a regular park ticket.

Probably the same party I attended. I was offered another party ticket, a park hopper add on or a $75 gift certificate. Since I have an AP, I took the gift certificate.I was reading a trip report from @Araminta18 where she went to MNSSHP in September and she received partial compensation due to numerous elements being closed due to rain. But I know it's not the norm.
That is the tough part with weather in Disney. You never know if it will rain. I guess they can’t refund everyone’s tickets but such an expensive event. Years ago I went with my daughter to mk princess party event one evening years ago. Worst rain ever all evening. I wish I had thought to ask for some type of partial refund even. The rain ruined the evening and tickets were so expensive. And especially coming from Canada we always have exchange rate which makes it even more expensive.I was at the party. The last 2 castle shows and the second parade were canceled
If you'd rather have a gc like PP referenced I'd give Disney a call and see if they have another option. We went earlier in October, and the parades and stage shows were canceled. We were automatically given one day park passes. We have APs through next summer, so not sure how we will be able to use it.
It’s good for one year.
We went to one in September that was affected by rain. They gave us one day park tickets not a hard ticket event. It is valid for a year.Normally the unused party ticket value must be applied to another hard ticket event, not a regular park ticket.
That's different. Previous posters were discussing what happens to unused tickets. You used your ticket. We went to one in September that was affected by rain. They gave us one day park tickets not a hard ticket event. It is valid for a year.
