I just purchased tickets for our first MNSSHP and we're so excited that our kids are finally going to be able to trick or treat in less five winter coats.
I bought "Disney" costumes for my children but it appears that now my son refuses to dress in the one I bought him. Before I had even booked the trip, DH and I told him he could go out on Halloween night as Bob the Builder (again-arghhh). Now he thinks he can go as Bob the Builder for the party. He was so sweet about it and I'm having such a hard time. I'm just tempted to let him go as Bob...
Wouldn't it be so "anti-Disney" though
to let him dress in a costume other than that?
Has anyone ever gone as "non-Disney" characters? Now, keep in mind my peanuts are 4, not teenagers.
Also, for safety sake, how is it possible to keep track when there are 500 Cinderellas walking around?

Last year my DD8 dressed up as a monster bride (not too scary) and it was fine.

Now DH and I are trying to decide if we'll dress up. Probably just a set of Mickey Ears.
