***MNSSHP! Let's get excited together!***

I thought I was excited before.... loved all the wonderful pics... we will be there Oct 7 - 11. My sister. and 2yo niece and me and my 3 kids ds13, ds7, and dd5.

We're coming too!

We'll be at WDW from Oct 2 - 11 for F&W, MNSSHP and ConGaloosh 2010! Racking our brains for good costumes. We went last year and I about sweated my brains out.

I've been checking the website hoping the offical dates would release and we can buy the tickets. I hope the CM proposed dates of 4/28 are right.

Grown-Up Costume change update....4yo DD as Snow White...now, I'm going to be the evil queen with just a black cloth over my black clothes (not going for the scary make-up) and carrying a red plastic apple.

8yo DD as Tink....DH is going to be Peter Pan or Terrence (sp?) with just a hat (acorn or Peter Pan style) and shirt.

I think they sounds cute and very functional at the same time....:hippie:

Just bought our tix! Who's joining us on Sept 28th?!?! :cool1:

Ok I am excited again. I had to shuffle all my plans and now we have to pay for DD and get different accomodations since she will be 3 but we will just drop some TS meals and go for it.

We are going to be there Sept. 18th. I have not bought the tickets yet hopefully I can get them in July when we get back from our summer vacation. We are going for the weekend. Grandma is going to tag along. Her first trip! DD will turn 3 on our first day there. We have no idea about costumes yet.

:cool1: I'm excited all over again! Except that this was the last booking thing I needed to do... Dining is all finalized, trip's paid off, party tickets ordered...
I guess it's time to shop again!!! And try to think of our costumes.

I hear ya! Now that the FD wait is over and I have my MNSSHP tickets, I don't know what to do! I've been shopping like a lunatic lately and my DH has told me (on a few occasions) that's it's time to stop spending. There are just so many great deals at the mall right now that I can't help myself! I need to think of costumes too. I'm still trying to get my DH to even consider wearing a costume. I keep reminding him that he's not going to see anyone he knows.

Meh, I just sneak it in when DBF's not home. Then straight into the closet or suitcase! :rolleyes1
Last year I wasn't even thinking about wearing costumes to the party but DBF (a 30 yr. "manly man") couldn't even fathom the though. "What?! Why aren't we getting dressed up?! Get in the car, we're going to the costume shop right now!" :rotfl:
Keep me posted on the costumes, maybe we'll run into each other at the party! I'll be the one with the huge smile on my face, running around with a big bag of candy!

I'm with you both. . .almost finished my ADRs. FD is out, so I'm booked. MNSSHP tickets ordered-September 28. Itinerary made. Now, I have nothing to do. I'll be looking for a costume as well. Maybe some shopping-I'm thinking of making shirts for my friend and I. Hmm. . .what else can I buy to occupy my time. . .

Welcome to the September 28th Club! :cool1:

Just bought our September 14th tickets today :cool1:....DH and I are so excited about it, we can't wait to see the looks on the girl's faces when they find out that we are going, they have only heard about the party, but isn't sure what entails :goodvibes. Hmmmmmm what are we going to wear

I am up to page 3 but have to ask -

does anyone know if the Villians do the meeting after the last show of the night???

We just booked a Sept trip. We are going 09/17 - 09/26 and are planning on doing the MNSSHP party a couple of times. We have never been in Sept so we have never done the party.

He have not purchased tickets yet for the week we are going. We are going on a Tues and Thurs so I figured mid week shouldn't sell out. Do the tickets for mid week parties sell out? Will WDW refund if the parks close? Is there enough to do to warrant 2 nights or can it all be seen and done in one night?

Thanks!

The only nights that really sell out are Halloween night and the couple before that. During your travel dates, you should be fine. Will WDW refund if the parks close? The parks won't close. Party goes on rain or shine. Is there enough to do to warrant 2 nights or can it all be seen and done in one night? Depends a little. Are you planning on trick or treating or just there for the fireworks, parades and shows? You should be fine with one night. You can purchase advanced tickets for one night and if you decide you'd like to go again after the first party, you shouldn't have a problem purchasing tickets for another during you trip. You could definitely fill both your nights but, I wouldn't say it was necessary.

Thanks!
Answers in bold... :)

If you want to see all the characters, it's almost impossible to do in one night unless it's a really slow night. I doubt that will be the case even in late September. Expect it to be very busy and have long lines for each character group. Many of those groups switch off so you have to do the line twice to catch them all. Mickey and Minnie are separate lines. Snow White with the Dwarfs requires getting in line before the party and lots of waiting.

Wanna skip the characters? Then one night is enough. We did 2 nights 9/29 and 10/1 last year and still didn't do it all. It was VERY busy the night of the 29th. 10/1 was better, but still busy.
