We’ve got tickets to MNSSHP…but I don’t know as to what type of itinerary I should aim for?? Do I concentrate on seeing characters, riding rides, collecting candy????? I don't want to miss a thing!!

Help!!! My daughter is four. For those of you who have attended MNSSHP, what would she like best???

Five hours (so little time)!!

Thanks for your suggestions.

Well you might want to concider doing what we are doing. We are going on 2 different nights. That way what we don't get done on 1 night we have the 2nd night.

That's what I'm doing. I'm actually going three nights. I want to be able to enjoy the Halloween festivities and enjoy the rides.

Assuming you only go one night, my advice depends on how much other MK time you'll have during your trip. If you're going to be spending at least another full day at MK, I would say to spend your party time enjoying the festivities that can only be enjoyed during the party. I thought the parade was fantastic and the only way you can see it is by attending the party. Face painting, trick or treating, story telling, I'd concentrate on these and ride rides as you have time.

If this is your only time at MK, then I would probably say skip the character greetings and trick or treating as they'll take up huge chunks of time that you could use for riding. Definitely see the second parade as you won't need to stake out a spot as far in advance.

No matter what, have fun!

We did 1/2 and 1/2 last year. We spent 1/2 our time enjoying MNSHHP specific activities and the other 1/2 enjoying the rides. However we were there from 4-midnight. From 11pm- midnight we were able to walk-on all of the Fantasyland rides (except we didn't do Mickey's Philharmagic). So, this was a really great time to do these rides. I plan on heading to the rides again in that last hour.

I also wanted to add that you may want to check out the stuck thread at the top of this board. It has all the info you need for MNSSHP!!!

Last year my children were on Splash Mountain over 10 times one after the other at about 11pm - the CM allowed them to stay on as there were no queues. Thunder Mountain was closed last year so they are hoping that they'll be able to do it at least 10 times this year!
