We are flying into MCO on October 30th. Our flight arrives around 1:30pm, however our flight leaves our home city around 7:00am (which means we will be up around 3:30 or 4 in the morning that day). I would love to go to the MNSSHP but I am wondering if this would be too much for our DD 5 and DS 9. We don't want to wait 'til the 31st as I have read on these boards that is the busiest night with it being Halloween and all. By the time we are allowed to check-in to our room at 4pm, I am not sure we would have much time to wind down from the trip and maybe nap before going to the MNSSHP.

Does DTD do anything for Halloween night? Any candy booths or anything set up?

If we go ahead and decide to order the tickets, and we get there and we just decide it's too much on that first night, are you able to get a refund on the tickets if they are not used?

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Disney Boardwalk has a little party on Halloween night... we saw Mickey three dressed as a Ghost :)

they had a DJ and I think so crafts but that part I am not 100% sure on - we didn't attend - we just went to dinner down there...
