Hi guys!
When the tickets are released for mnsshp how hard is it to get through on the phone on the first day of the release? I imagine everyone tries to call on that first day! Also, how soon do the tickets sell out for halloween night? Is it a matter of days or will I have a good period of time to try and get some tickets for that night? Is it usual to be put on hold for ages when calling or do they tend to have lots of operaters on the phones? I am desperate to get some tickets for me and my twin sister, it is our first ever trip out of Australia, has anyone else overseas had any luck purchasing tickets from os? I hope it doesn't impeed my chances of getting some!

Btw, what is the best time to call, the least busiest so I can calculate the time difference. Thanks

We did not really know anything about the HP until we started planning an October trip last August. I ordered our tickets for the October 8th party, a Friday night the end of August. I was glad that I had them in hand because when we changed resorts from the WL to the Poly that day I heard people trying to purchase them at the desk only to be told that it was the first sell out of the season

There's no need to rush to the phone the first day they go on sale. Halloween night did not sellout last year until 8/19/04.

I know they're offered at a discount for AP holders, but we can't prepurchase them and must wait until the night of the party. What do you think our chances would be to get in sometime during the first week of October waiting until the day of in order to use the AP discount?

From our experience, see above, I would think that you would have a better chance on a week night than on a weekend one. Seems a lot of locals get tickets for the weekend ones. HTH
