Hello. We are planning on going to the MNSSHP in 2007 but this ? should be relavent for this year as well.

How much candy do the kids tend to get? And what kind/size.

I ask not to be greedy but I just found a cute stuffed Pooh Easter basket (but it could double up for Halloween as well) at Wal-Mart for half price. I want to make sure it is big enough. It wouldn't hold as much as the regular pumpkin's that you get at Halloween.

What do you/your kids carry to Trick or Treat with?

Thanks.

Kalen

as you enter the MK. They are pretty sturdy and will hold a good bit. The candy is the mostly what you would get at Halloween with the small candy bars and such. For the most part, it is pretty good candy with very little generic candy.

Have a great time.

They give out treat sacks at the party.Even the adults get them.We got... and I kid you not ,we weighed them...a total of 15 lbs of candy the last time we went between the 3 of us!!!

The chocolate are the mini size bars.Geez I'm blanking right now on what they were.Milky Ways I remember. I took about 2 lbs of just Pixie Sticks to Erich's class!!!

This is Erich with his empty sack.

The trick or treat candy is awesome!!! Toward the end of the evening, they tend to get pretty generous...... :thumbsup2

They give you too much candy, honostly. My kids ate on their stash for weeks. It is all first rate candy also. This past year, after trick or treating all night at the party, as you were leaving, a CM was outside of the MK filling your bags up to the overflowing point with even more candy. A little basket ill not hold it all.

The last time we went for Halloween was 1996. We live in N.Y. so our costumes were for our weather..never again..we sweated or butts off..We brought home 1 large suitcase full of candy, Nestle products mostly & Pixie stix. Had a blast. Our family has grown since then we will be there again this Oct 25-Nov 4. Oct 31st we will be at MNSSHP this year we will be dressed appropriatley.

We got TONS of candy!!!!!!!!!!!!! We actually handed it out for Halloween, we had so much! In 2004 we got about 4 million pixie sticks. Last year, there were no pixie stix, thank goodness!

skip the dining plan and do MNSSHP on the first day and be set for the week? :rotfl2:

Thanks for the info. It's really been helpful.
