I listed this on the tips board with no response as of yet, we are attending the MNSSHP on Oct. 31 the night beofre we sail out on the Magic. Never been to WDW or to a hard card special event so any helpful tips would be appreciated. We have been to Disneyland and the MK layout looks rather similiar so I think we'll be okay getting around. Thanks in advance DCL fans!!!!

haven't been to that, but please come join the 11/01 thread - we'd love to have you!

I think it begins 11/01/03 Eastern Cruisers - I know you're out there!

Hope to see you onboard!

I'm going for the 3rd time this year. I've been to both WDW and WDL and the layout is very similar, but you will be able to tell the differences. What type of questions do you have?

Ohhhh.....am I the person to answer your questions! We went last year right after our cruise, and had the time of our lives! It was everything I expected and more. Make sure you get there early, right before they start letting everyone in. The 5 hours do go by very fast. We actually didn't get to ride that many rides because our kids were more interested in the candy! When you arrive at the park you will receive cute little trick or treat bags. There are stations set up all over the park where your kids can get candy from the characters! Bring TONS of film, and if you are a pin collector make sure to buy the special edition pin that is only sold that night. There were special Halloween fireworks, storytelling, parades and much more!! They also take a special photo of your party and mail it to you.

As you can see from the photo, I am a true Disney freak, and went to great lengths for our family to be coordinated. It actually took begging and pleading for my husband to get into the Mad Hatter costume. But it paid off.....when we entered the park, a CM pulled us aside and asked our kids to ride in the parade later that night! I have extra "guide to the goodies" brochures from that night that include all of the nights events and a park map if you are interested? You can PM me with your address and I will send it out to you. I hope you have a GREAT time!!!!!
Take care!!!
