MNSSHP entrance times 10/31

Forgive me for starting a new thread, but the thread on the halloween party was like 500 posts long!

We're going on Halloween night since we'll only be a Disney a couple days. We bought the tickets already. I've been once before and I think that time they said you could get in at 6 or so, but is there an 'official' time' they'll let you in the gates with just this NSSHP pass? I won't have a park hopper too.

We were thinking of doing dinner at Downtown Disney but I would consider priority seating at MK if it meant getting in early... I've heard rumors of being able to get in as early as 4 p.m.

Any other tips on actual Halloween night? Last time we went a different date and loved just walking on all the rides.

WE have been to 4 or 5 MNSSHP and have got in about a hr or so early a few times. But we allways have our AP pass just in case they try to turn us away.

As far as tips for the night have you every seen the headless
horseman ride.

we are going over in oct too just need to set a date soon and buy the tickets.

We went in around 4:30pm last year with only our MNSSHP tickets with no problem.

I beleive 4pm is the correct time. There is usually a separate entrance for MNSSHP - last year it was to the right of the entrance turnstyles. We went last year (meant to go at 4pm but got delayed and ended up there at 4:45 - I'd heard they'd started letting people in at 4 however). I would assume it's the same this year but you never know - there's nothing to stop Disney from changing it on a whim but if I remember from past posts the 4pm time has been good for a few years.

We found doing a waterpark in the day - relaxing for an hour or so and then going to MK at 4pm is great. You don't waste a park hopper day and have a full 8 hours at MK (plus you get a few daylight hours to do a few rides you might want to do when it's light out - Splash Mountain for one!)
