MNSSHP/dinner question

Since we are planning on going to MNSSHP, do you think a dinner ressie at 5 at Narcoossees is too late? Will we miss too much of the party? Should we do Narc's another night? Thanks for any ideas!

Hi.....personally I would do something in the MK. We ate at LTT and had a blast. If the menu there doesn't appeal to you Chef Mickeys at the CR or "ohana at the Poly might be other things to consider. I don't know if you are planning on wearing costumes to MNSSHP or not but if you are you would fit right in Having said that I don't think you can go wrong with whatever you decide. You are in Disney afterall

I honestly would do a TS for lunch and do a counter service at the party as the party is only so long and once you get in you will be wanting to find characters in their costumes, trick or treat, ride the rides, etc and if you do a sit down dinner during the party that will knock out an hour easily. Take it from 2 adults, we were glad we did a CS meal for dinner that night. We had a blast.

I have done the party four times now and MVMCP once. I have learned that hands down the best plan of action is to do one of two things:

Either eat your big meal at lunch or eat inside the MK between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m. (counter service or table service) Eating at a monorail resort is fun on MK nights, I just don't happen to like doing it on party nights. You can get into the MK anytime after 4:00 on your party ticket and never want to be arriving too close to the party. If you eat at Narcoose's at 5:00 you will be getting to the MK just when thousands of people are entering and leaving. I plan to be in that park no later than 5:00 on our night to eat a cs meal. Now that they leave the park open for regular guests until 7:00, that makes the first hour or so way more hectic. Don't arrive to the MK after 6:00! And once 7:00 rolls around I don't want to be eating anything other than the candy they hand out to party guests.

I just got my itinerary to see where I can fit a better time for Narc's. Especially since it is a signature restaurant and we plan on doing a party after. Even though I am not sure if we will all be in costume it just seems easier. We will definitely go with a restaurant in MK such as LTT or Tony's. Thanks again.
