MNSSHP costume ideas - Need help

I am trying to decide on a costume for MNSSHP for our Mom and Midget trip. I usually wear a tank top and shorts to the parks. I don't want to wear anything long.

Any thoughts??? BTW Midget will be dressed as Ariel.

Midget is my DD nickname. So used to referring to her that way, I forget others might find it offensive. Long story short (no pun intended) she's very tiny for her age (49" @ 9.5)... and her father is 6'7"

Well, I'm trying to get my husband and boy to dress as Judy Hopps, Flash the sloth and Nick Wilde.

If she's dressing as Ariel, what about Ursula? There is a running skirt company called Sparkle Skirts, they make a purple skirt (shorts w/pockets underneath) that might work.

Sebastian!!! Red shirt and shorts, headband with eyeballs, and a couple of foam crab claws (or oven mitts LOL). And you get to sing "Under the Sea" all night!!
